Flavie LAGACÉ was born about 1838. She appeared on the 1850 US census in Madawaska Plantation, Maine as Flav Lagasse, age 13, living in household of Aly and Lucy Lagasse.⁽¹⁰⁾

They both appeared on the 1860 US census in 1860 in Township 18, Range 6, Aroostook Co., Maine as George Lougie, age 28, farmer, real estate worth $650 and personal estate worth $600, born in Canada, could not read or write, living in household with Flavie Lougie (22), Flavie (5), George (3), Sophie (2), and Mary (1).⁽⁷⁾Georges ROY dit LAUZIER and Flavie LAGACÉ had the following children:
