The Aroostook War - Find out what really happened.

Post by Norm DeMerchant »

Kings Landing Historical Settlement is putting on a re-creation of the events known as the Aroostook War. I have heard it is a interesting day for anyone interested in this event. It is suppose to be unbiased and takes into account American views, as well as New Brunswick's.

July 16-17

Aroostook War
British soldiers are stationed on the bridge over Courser’s Cove, and the air is thick with tension as residents worry about the imminent war with Maine over the location of the border. Voice your opinion to one of the census takers, and watch as American General Winfield Scott and Lieutenant Governor John Harvey struggle to find a resolution. Will blood be shed? Find out what really happened!
