Looking for information on my great grandmother's father. (Her name was Adeline Thibodeau /MUTTY) and she married my great grandfather Jean Baptiste MORIN. Adeline's father was:
Joseph Thibodeau (aka Joseph Matte/Mothe/Thibodeau/Mutty). He married M. Sophie Turcotte in Waterville Maine around 1859. I have Sophie's family's information but nothing at all on Joseph. He was born in Canada but immigrated to Maine (obviously- seeing him and Sophie married there and are listed in Maine census records).
Anyone with any information at all on him would be appreciated. There are so many Joseph Thibodeau's out there and so far, none that I have seen can be linked to him.
