Just stumbled across a relatively new website maintained by the University of New Brunswick. They have scanned an enourmous amount of paper regarding the very earliest development of the Province. It is called the Winslow papers and please check out this link. It is a searchable database so try words such as Madawaska, Cyr, Daigle, Acadians, etc. etc.
