Ancestry of Alexandre Rossignol of St. Leonard, NB

I'm having some trouble tracking down the parents and ancestry of Alexandre Rossignol of St. Leonard Parish, NB. He was the husband of Angelique Adelaide Durepos, married on 9/27/1841 at St. Bruno in Van Buren, ME. There is some secondary matierial on the web that indicates a birth date of both 1804 and 1820 with parents: Jean Alexandre Rossignol and Angelique Caron and baptized also at St. Bruno in Van Buren. In particular I'm having absolutely no luck confirming his birth date and mother in particular and if Angelique Caron is correct, her parents. Thanks for your help.
