New searchable land grant database from 1845

The Musée historique du Madawaska (Madawaska Historical Museum) on the University of Moncton campus at Edmundston has made available online a searchable database on land claims in the upper St John Valley.
George Findlen has published an online article about how to access and use the database. It contains declarations on land ownership, when purchased and from whom, from those holding land in the valley.
