Welcome all! I'm the webmaster of the upperstjohn.com website.

All of my family lines have come through the Upper St.John River valley, and they include Acadiens, Canadiens, Irish, English, Scottish and, way way back, some Mikmaq .

Here's an explanation of how I came to set up the website.

The idea to set up a forum was inspired by the message board of Bill Flowers on his Chaleur Genealogy website
