The families are those of:

Pontif Rossignol and Hermine Marquis

and

François Rossignol and Sévérine Marquis

Hi my mothers whole side is from Frenchville, St. Agatha, and Fort Kent. Raymond, Paradis, Bard, Michaud just to name a few. I come from a Antoine Paradis who married Clarisse Calixte Pelletier 1851 Frenchville. Antoine was the son of Michel Paradis and Modeste Rossignol, they were married 1828 Riviere du Loupe. In 1854 at the baptism of my 3rd great grandmother Philomene Paradis in Frenchville, her godfather was Pontif Rossignol. I havent looked much into it yet, but i'm thinking Antoine Paradis and Pontif Rossignol might be cousins. That might give people somwhere to look.
