I have traced my father's mother's side back 3 generations in Maine and 2 more generations in Ireland, but I can't find anything on his father's side. Dad's mother was Evelyn (Evie) Keegan daughter of James and Marie Bourgoin. I think his father was a Eugene Lurrett (sp). Some stories I have heard tell that he was killed in a logging truck accident prior to the birth of my father, another story was that he was shot while gambling, so who knows. I think his grave is in Van Buren or St. Leonard. My father was born in Portland, Maine, at a Catholic hospital where one of Evelyn's aunts was a nun. My father was adopted by Charles Bernhardt Redmond and Elsie Lapham. Any help on the Lurrett side would be appreciated.
