Margauerite THIBODEAU PLOURDE died after this birth and before 1868 when Remi married Juliette/Genevieve DESJARDINS b.abt.1824

The asterisked Marie Luce PLOURDE is my great-grandmother. She married April 1873 Old Town, Maine
Eugene LACROIX b.March 1849 Ste-Claire,Que,Can

(NOTE:Eugene LACROIX often used the Americanized name JOHN CROSS and several of his children also used CROSS at times in their lives. Only one child, Pierre/Peter used CROSS for his own children. The other males reverted to LACROIX and the females of course took their husband's name.)

This couple had two children in Maine, then settled in Gorham, New Hampshire for several years, having another 8 children there, before moving and settling in the Jay/East Livermore/Livermore Falls area where they had another 2 children. In all 12 births, but only 6 lived to be adults.

Their first daughter, Marie Adeline, Apr.1878, married Thomas DUBE, b.1870, Frenchville/Ste-Luce. Married in E.Livermore/Livermore Falls settled there. Had 14 children live to adulthood.

Remi Plourde Is the son of Pierre Plourde and Marie Reine Levesque. He was baptized in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec On August 19th, 1819. He married
Marguerite Thibodeau in 1839 in St-Basile, N.B.

Pierre Plourde and Marie Reine Levesque got married in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec on Jannuary 13th, 1817.

It is beleived that Pierre Plourde got married 4 times.

January 7th, 1799 to Marie Josephte Paradis in St-Louis de Kamouraska
August 10th, 1801 to Perpétue Hudon-Beaulieu in Rivière-Ouelle
January 13th, 1817 to Marie Reine Levesque in Rivière-Ouelle
Febuary 15th, 1836 to Marie Josepthe Asselin in St-Louis de Kamouraska

The oldest son of Pierre Plourde: Pierre, married Appoline Thériault
and settled along the Madawaska River. Many of his half brothers and sisters also established themselves in the region.

I have the birth record of three of Remi Plourde and Marguerite Thibodeau Childrens from the volume of St-Basile birth records published by Jean-Guy Poitras

Olivier Born: August 3rd, 1840 Baptized August 4th, 1840
Marie Anne Born: July 26th, 1844 Baptized the same date
Marguerite Born: November 9th, 1845 Baptized November 12th

Justine Plourde died on March 21st, 1927 at 72 years and 6 month old. She was married to Louis Clavet

Sévérine Plourde died on May 22nd, 1877 at 16 years old

That Is what I could find in the volume of St-Basile death records published by Jean-Guy Poitras
