The asterisked Marie Luce PLOURDE is my great-grandmother. She married April 1873 Old Town, Maine
Eugene LACROIX b.March 1849 Ste-Claire,Que,Can

(NOTE:Eugene LACROIX often used the Americanized name JOHN CROSS and several of his children also used CROSS at times in their lives. Only one child, Pierre/Peter used CROSS for his own children. The other males reverted to LACROIX and the females of course took their husband's name.)

This couple had two children in Maine, then settled in Gorham, New Hampshire for several years, having another 8 children there, before moving and settling in the Jay/East Livermore/Livermore Falls area where they had another 2 children. In all 12 births, but only 6 lived to be adults.

Their first daughter, Marie Adeline, Apr.1878, married Thomas DUBE, b.1870, Frenchville/Ste-Luce. Married in E.Livermore/Livermore Falls settled there. Had 14 children live to adulthood.
