In the process of trying to trace the ancestry of Philomene Marquis (go here for the discussion and research) I'm looking at Cyrille Marquis who married Adelaide Gauvin, and who in the 1871 New Brunswick census is living in St Leonard.

Here's death/burial info I've found on him, from Assumption Church in Grand Falls, their online database:

Cyrille MARQUIS
75 ans/years
date of death: 13-08-1897
Époux de/Husband of:
???? Jauvin
date of burial: 16-08-1897
