Catherine Marquis/ Josphine Marquis - wives of Pierre Blier

According to the DGM, Pierre Blier married Catherine Marquis on 25 Oct 1880 in Frenchville, Maine. According to the Maine Marriage Index, on 28 May 1896, Pierre Blier of Kingman, Maine married Josephine Marquis of Frenchville, Maine.
I think I have found the family on the 1900 US Census living in Kingman, Maine (I assume that Josephine is "Mary"). Peter and Mary say that they have been married for 5 years which dovetails the information from the MMI.
Peter Bilyea (Blier) b. Mr 1860 (head)
Mary b. Oct 1857 (wife)
Joseph b Mar 1887 (son)
Cora b. Dec 1888 (daughter)
Minnie b. Feb 1891 (daughter)
Willie Markie (Marquis) b Jul 1880 (boarder)
A few questions: Is Willie Marquis related to either Catherine or Josphine Marquis? I have seen references to Catherine Marquis as "Catherine (Mary) Oulette Marquis" with a Oct 1857 birthdate - is there some confusion between Catherine Marquis and Josephine Marquis? Were they sisters? And does anyone know the origin of the "Oulette" found in Catherine's name?
Thanks to anyone that lend me a hand with any of this!
