This is an aerial view of the St.John River at Fort Kent, on the right, and Clair, on the left, looking eastward. The bridge in the foreground goes from Fort Kent Mills to Clair. On the right side of the river a bit more than half way up from the bottom is where the Fish River flows into the St.John.  That is the site of the old Block House, where Stover Rines was stationed in 1840.
