91. Louis Philippe GAGNON was born in 1889 in Van Buren, Maine. He attended Ste. Marie's College, graduating in 1908. He worked as a salesman in his father's general store in Van Buren from 1908 until 1 Apr 1915. He was appointed postmaster of Van Buren on 1 Apr 1915 for a term of four years.⁽¹⁵⁵⁾

He was married to Catherine Brigitte DIONNE (daughter of Louis DIONNE and Agnes POWERS) on 14 Jun 1911 in St. Bruno's Church, Van Buren, Maine.⁽⁵⁸⁾ By 1915 they had three children.
