(3) He appeared on the 1860 US census in Township 18, Range 5, Aroostook, Maine, as Francis Gagnon, age 55, working as a miller, owned real estate worth $550, personal estate worth $350, living with Mary (59), Francis (19), and Lucy (15) (p.521, line 33.(4)

He was married to Marie DUVAL (daughter of Louis DUVAL and Geneviève BOIS) on 4 May 1830 in St-André, Kamouraska, Québec. (5) Marie DUVAL was born about 1805.
