Andrew May and Carrie Rowe

(28.) 2. Andrew Peter MAY was born on 8 May 1858 in Philipstad, Sweden. (The original family name was Olson.) He immigrated to America in about 1878. He was a railway agent from 1885 to 1896 in C&NW Railway Company. In 1895 he was elected as president of the Board of Education in Iroquois, South Dakota. He died on 20 Aug 1896 in Iroquois, South Dakota.⁽²⁾ (According to obituary, he died of "complications of the bowels and stomach.") He was buried on 25 Aug 1896 in Whitewater, Wisconsin. He was married to Carrie Elnora ROWE on 9 Oct 1889 in Redfield, South Dakota.

(29.) 3. Carrie Elnora ROWE was born on 15 Jul 1862 in Coldspring, Wisconsin. She died on 8 May 1930 in Rochelle, Illinois. Children were:
