3794. Thomas BURNHAM (2956) was born in Jun 1623 in Norwich, Norfolk County, England. He immigrated in 1635 to Massachusetts. (2957) He and his two brothers came from Norfolk on the ship Angel Gabriel, captained and owned by his mother's brother, Captain Robert Andrews. The ship wrecked on the coast of Maine. Their lives were saved by their valuables lost. He signed a will on 10 Jan 1693. The will was proved September 1693. His houses and farms were divided between his sons Thomas and James. He died on 19 May 1694 in Ipswich, Mass..(2958) He served in the military in the Pequot war. "[He] was a carpenter by trade, was lieutenant, deputy to the general court in 1683-84-85; selectman of Ipswich, 1647, and on various town committees; in 1664 was sergeant of the Ipswich company, ensign 1665, lieutenant 1683. In 1667 he was granted the privilege of erecting a saw mill on the Chebacco river near the falls." He was married to Marie LAWRENCE in Jun 1654 in Ipswich, Mass..

3795. Marie LAWRENCE was born on 10 Apr 1624 in St. Albans, England. She died on 27 Mar 1715 in Ipswich, Mass.. Children were:

child xii. Hester BURNHAM was born on 19 Mar 1666 in Ipswich, Mass.. She died on 6 Oct 1749. She married two times; the first time to Clark; the second time, 6 Aug 1684, to Mischeck Farley.
child xiii. Phebe BURNHAM was born on 10 Mar 1667 in Ipswich, Mass.. She married Matthew Perkins (b.1665, d.15 Apr 1738) 23 March 1685/6.
