Honor HILL.54. J.W. HILL was elected as representative, South
Carolina General Assembly from 1884 to 1912 in Collington Co., South Carolina.
He served in the following sessions of the general assembly: 56th and 57th (Nov
1884-Dec 1887); 63rd through 65th (Jan 1899-Feb 1904); and 69th (Jan 1911-Feb
1912). He was elected as senator, South Carolina State Senate in 1912 in Collington
Co., South Carolina. He died before he could take office. He died on 19 Dec
1912. Children were:
