4516. Thomas(Charles?) CORMIER was born about 1636 in La Rochelle, Aunis, France. ⁽³²⁷²⁾ He immigrated in 1644 to Acadia. ⁽³²⁷³⁾ Came to Acadia with his father, master carpenter Robert Cormier, to work on Nicolas Deny's fort at Saint Peters on Cape Breton. Enlistment contract signed at La Rochelle 8 Jan 1644, found in archives of notary Teuleron. He died about 1689 in Beaubassin, Acadia. He was a carpenter. He was married to Madeleine GIROUARD about 1668 in Port-Royal, Acadia.⁽³²⁷⁴⁾

4517. Madeleine GIROUARD was born about 1654 in Port-Royal, Acadia. ⁽³²⁷⁵⁾ Children were:

1098 i. Pierre CORMIER.
2258 ii. François CORMIER.
