TENTH GENERATION

566. Jean-Baptiste THIBODEAU was born about 1705 in Acadia. He was living in 1770 in Ekoupag, New Brunswick. He died in 1795 in St-Basile, New Brunswick.⁽³⁰⁾ He was married to Marie LEBLANC on 14 Jan 1727 in Grand Pré, Acadia. ⁽⁷⁰¹⁾ At time of British expulsion of Acadians, family sought refuge on the St. John river, then after the destruction of the community of Ste-Anne (Fredericton) in 1759, in Quebec. They returned to St. John river during 1770s and settled at St-Basile after the arrival of the Loyalists.

567. Marie LEBLANC was born about 1710 in Grand Pré, Acadia.⁽⁷⁰²⁾ Children were:

i. Oliver THIBODEAU was born in 1727.
275 ii. Marguerite-Blanche THIBODEAU.
283 iii. Madeleine THIBODEAU.
