They appeared in the 1910 US census in Township 14, Range 14 (far up the St John or Black River), as Louis St.John, 37, married for 13 years, born in Maine, both parents born in Canada, working as a farmer, and Susy St.John, 37, born in Maine, had given birth to 6 children of whom 5 were still alive, living with children Marcy (12), Annie (10), Joseph (4), Susy M. (2) and Mabel (6 months). Also in the household were Louis's mother Christina Hunter, 69, widowed; his brother-in-law John Camel (Campbell), 38, widower, and his nephew (John's son) Theodule, 10.

They appeared on the 1920 US census in St. John Plantation, Aroostook, Maine, as Louis St. John, age 46, owned own home, couldn't read or write, mother tongue was English, parents' mother tongue was French, farm laborer (reference to farm schedule no.31) and Suzie St.John, age 45, could read and write, born in Maine, living with children Marsey (son, 21), Annie (18), Joe (13), Susie (12), Mable (10), Laurette (8), Romeo (6), Henry (4), and Esther (2).(34)

Suzanne CAMPBELL died in 1941.
