Newbie looking for father's side of family.

My name is Gail Devoe Wessman and I am looking for my fathers side of the family. The information I have so far is my dads name is Charles Clifford Devoe born July 27,1921 in Caribou, Maine, his mother is Flossie/ Florence Cyr born in 1895 Caribou, Maine his fathers name is Paul Gilbert Deveau St.Leonard,
NB, Canada May 25, 1887 his parents were married on February 14.1915 in Caribou, Maine. My dads grandparents names are possibly Nazarre Deveau and Angeline Lizotte no dates from St Leonard, New Brunswick. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Gail.

This family (Nazaire) seems to be appearing in the St Bruno parish census of 1872, spelled Devot. It's transcribed on this website. Go here: http://upperstjohn.com/1872/stbruno15.htm#549 and then down to line 30, continuing onto the next page. You can see that they had been married 20 years, and that they were born at St Basile (Bazile) so you would check the marriage records from St Basile church. It also gives the names of their parents. You should check the transcsribed censuses on this site for 1850 (Maine) and 1851 (New Brunswick), you should be able to find them. Also the earlier censuses of Maine in 1840 and earlier, which included both sides of the river, as well as other documents on this site.
